Import Actions in Photoshop

Import actions in Photoshop to automate repetitive tasks and enhance your workflow. Use these steps to open the Actions panel, load files, and play actions effectively.

  1. Open the Actions Panel

Locate the Actions panel in Photoshop. If not visible, go to Window > Actions.

  2. Load Files into Photoshop

Navigate to the product folder. Drag and drop the ATNPAT, and/or ABR files into the Actions panel.

Note: Most SparkleStock Photoshop actions only contain an ATN file. However, they can also contain PAT or ABR files.

  3. Play a Photoshop Action

Select an action. Click the Play button at the bottom of the panel.

Non-English Photoshop users: SparkleStock Photoshop actions work with all languages, so there’s no need to change Photoshop’s language setting to English.

  4. Using the Photoshop Actions

Refer to the product manual for specific usage instructions, as Photoshop actions vary. This manual is typically found with the product files as a .html or .pdf file.

  5. Tip: Button Mode

Click on the panel menu (top-right of the panel). Select Button Mode.

The actions will now display as buttons. You may need to resize the panel width to display the buttons as a vertical list.
