​Import LUTs in CapCut Desktop

Import LUTs in CapCut Desktop to enhance your video editing with custom color grading. This feature is exclusive to the desktop version of CapCut and is not available on the web or mobile versions.

  1. Import the LUTs

    Go to the Adjustment panel. Click on LUT. Click Import. Browse to the folder with the *.3dl or *.cube LUTs, select all, then click Import.

  2. Apply the LUT as an Adjustment Layer

    Hover over the thumbnails to preview the LUTs.

    Apply a LUT in CapCut desktop in two ways:

    Directly on the clip: Double-click on the thumbnail to apply it directly to the selected clip.

    As an adjustment layer (recommended): Hover over the thumbnail and click on the + icon on the bottom-right. If added as an adjustment layer, drag the right edge of the Adjustment track to stretch it over the timeline.

  3. Adjust the LUT Intensity

    Adjust the “Intensity” slider in the Adjustment > LUT panel to reduce the LUT opacity/strength.
