Loading LUTs in CapCut Desktop

Note: Importing LUTs is not available in the web or mobile version of CapCut.

Import the LUTs

1. Go to the Adjustment panel.
2. Click on “LUT”.
3. Click “Import”. Browse to the folder with the *.3dl or *.cube LUTs, select all, then click Import.

Apply the LUT as an Adjustment Layer

Hover over the thumbnails to preview the LUTs. There are two ways to apply a LUT in CapCut desktop:

• Directly on the clip: Double-click on the thumbnail to apply it directly to the selected clip.
• As an adjustment layer (recommended): Hover over the thumbnail and click on the + icon on the bottom-right.

If you added it as an adjustment layer, drag the right-edge of the Adjustment track to stretch it over the timeline.

Adjusting the LUT Intensity

To reduce the LUT opacity/strength, adjust the “Intensity” slider in the Adjustment > LUT panel.
